The data were analyzed with regression analysis. The results are summarized as follows: in the relationship between academic stress and satisfaction with life, the moderating effect of modesty was statistically significant. In the relationship between academic stress and negative affect, the moderating effect of love, social intelligence, gratitude and hope was statistically significant. The current study confirmed variables affecting the subjective well-being of high school students who experienced academic stress.
